The Sealey Challenge Expanded Edition Day 18: Hester A Novel by Laurie Lico Albanese

I read/listened to this novel for a book club that I am in as well as a professional group. I had a hard time getting into the plot at first. I kept asking myself, where is this going? It became wonderous though. The back and forthness of stories in time and how family lore and baggage can keep happiness or at least dreams from happening. The Scarlett Letter has a different beginning, the same middle, and a different end. I loved how it felt ordinary people carried on through life and became extraordinary. Legends from legends. Love.
