Sealey Challenge Day 3: "Clock Star Rose Spine" by Fran Wilde

Well, Day 3 is here and it's shaping up to prove that I have a genre. I mean--that there is a genre for Fran Wilde that has illustrations and poems that tell a story. It is not linear; it is more as quoted somewhere like a compass. There are four directions. Poems are mostly direct address "you" but sometimes the "you" blurs. It seems that it is a partner being addressed most of the time. The diction is beautiful. There are A LOT of self-portrait poems. How they are constructed, and work together is interesting when thinking about a compass or a nonlinear frame. Terrific.
